THE HEADTEACHER’S WELCOME MESSAGE

Sr. Grace

Dear Parents and Gardians,

Inspiring mind and soul, Dominican Convent Secondary School is a faith-centered, academic community based on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church located in the heart of the central business district of Ndola-Zambia

Our priority is to provide a safe, secure and engaging learning environment – one that is inclusive, ambitious and challenging. Our amazing students come from all corners of Ndola District, and they thrive as active contributors to our rich, vibrant and diverse school community.

Through a rigorous school- curriculum with the highest educational standards, students at our school gain a strong foundation that emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving.

Each teacher serves as a mentor through example, prayer, and relationship building. It is our goal to challenge each student to learn and grow in knowledge, community, and faith, so they are well equipped for University, college and beyond.

Our rich programme of extracurricular provision provides opportunity for students to develop and flourish in sports, arts, music and academia, where they can develop key life skills including confidence, teamwork and leadership. As a professional learning community, we are committed to providing challenging educational opportunities for our students every single day.. We want our students to have every opportunity to discover, explore, and expand their passions!

The Grade 8–12th grade years are formative ones and the time a student spends at Dominican Convent Secondary School  will inform and influence who they will becomes in the future.

The privilege we have of being trusted with the education of your student comes with a tremendous responsibility, one that we take seriously. It is our desire to collaborate with parents and families in each student’s moral and character development.
