Education

At Dominican Convent Secondary School, class sizes are small, allowing our teachers to actively involve each student in the learning process. Dominican teachers have time to know each student and their special gifts and provide support and mentoring. Departments and staff interact with students in a number of different roles as members of the Dominican Christian community. They are coaches, advisors, supporters in the audience and invested in seeing our students succeed.

Catholic Ministry

At Dominican Secondary School, we take the duty of Catholic education seriously. It is a part of everything we do as a community, both in and outside our classrooms – and we’re proud of that. But more importantly, we’re proud of our students – mindful, spiritual individuals with a true desire for service and a strong moral character.

Serving The community

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:37-40 Providing service to those in need in our community is an important component of the student experience at Dominican

About Us

Great History Of Our Campus

Dominican Convent School functions under the premise that students enrolled in this school have the ability to learn and can learn well. Learning is a lifelong process and this process begins in the grade levels incorporated in this school program. During these years, the child’s individual ability levels cannot be calculated, predicted, or tracked. The child’s ability levels will change each time the student encounters a new learning experience. This school will incorporate high expectations for the escalation of the student’s ability as he/she successfully approaches and completes learning experiences designed in the program of curriculum and instruction
